Rachel B. Moore, 2025 Sara Patton Recipient: Nonfiction (Essay Collection)

Rachel B. Moore earned her MFA in Creative Writing for fiction from Lesley University in 2012. Her work can be found in Debs: Four Women Writers on the Verge, BorderSenses, The Lindenwood Review, the Crack The Spine “The Year” Anthology, The Stonecoast Review, Peatsmoke Journal, MIDLVLMAG, and Slag Glass City.

Rachel’s literary obsessions include disappearances of all kinds, missing people, city life, and urban nature. She is currently working on a creative non-fiction essay collection entitled How to Love A City. She lives and works in San Francisco, California. More at rachelbmoore.com.
